In-Space Missions

Bringing together expertise to support new and existing space businesses

In-Space Missions (UK) brings together experience, expertise and innovation to enable new and existing space businesses to grow and thrive through rapid deployment of technologies and services to orbit. The team has over 250 combined team-years of experience in military, institutional and commercial space activities covering earth observation, sat comms, navigation, space science and space exploration.

In-Space provides mission as a service capability through its Faraday Service. This offering provides end-to-end support to customers and enables both physical and digital payloads to be flown on In-Space's scalable, reprogrammable satellite buses which range in size from 3kg to 150kg. With a dramatic reduction in both capex needs and schedule to orbit, In-Space’s capabilities underpin the new space revolution.

In-Space has launched two satellites to date and currently has nine spacecraft in various stages of design and build. In-Space was acquired in September 2021 and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of BAE Systems.

“As a founder member of the Space South Central Advisory Board, In-Space is looking forward to making a strong input to the development of space sector engagement across the region.”
