National Space Innovation Programme (NSIP) Call 2
Deadline: Wednesday, 23rd July 2025
The UK Space Agency invites proposals for UK-based research and development projects that will deliver innovative space technologies, applications and services through the National Space Innovation Programme (NSIP). NSIP provides co-funded grant support to de-risk high-reward projects with a clear target market.

Climate Services Call 3
Deadline: Sunday, 27th July 2025
Following the success of two earlier Climate Service Calls, the UK Space Agency is supporting the development of Earth Observation-enabled climate services by continuing to provide small grants to support the development of pre-commercial UK-based services using satellite Earth Observation data.

ARTES Call – General Summer 2025
Deadline: Thursday, 31st July 2025
The UK Space Agency is inviting proposals from applicants looking to develop technologies, products and services in satellite telecommunications. These can cover the development of components, systems or services and any aspect or combination of the space, ground or network segments.

Hubble Space Telescope Call for Proposals
Deadline: Thursday, 14th August 2025
The Hubble Telescope invites scientists to participate in Cycle 33 of the Hubble Space Telescope (HST). The telescope and its instruments were built under the auspices of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the European Space Agency (ESA). Management of HST’s scientific programme is carried out by the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI).

Advanced agricultural monitoring and management solutions

The European Space Agency (ESA) invites companies to participate in the Advanced Agricultural Monitoring and Management Solutions initiative. This opportunity aims to support the development of innovative services that leverage space technology to enhance agricultural monitoring and management. Horizon Europe 2025 work programme Cluster 6: Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment

Royal Society Wolfson Fellowship

Enhancing Port Safety and Efficiency through Space
Deadline: Thursday, 18th September 2025
The main objective of the Thematic Call for Proposals is to develop space-based services and applications which address the challenges facing ports by taking advantage of data and innovative technologies.
This Thematic Call for Proposals aims to support industry in the development of services focused on increasing the safety of the personnel during ports-related operations, enhancing security measures, and improving efficiencies around operations and the movement of passengers and goods.

Springboard research grants with France, Spain and Germany
Deadline: Tuesday, 30th September 2025
Springboard grants support collaborations between research teams involving early-career researchers, with a view to either submitting joint grant applications or working on joint publications.
Priority will be given to projects aligned with the Horizon Europe thematic areas:
Health
Culture, creativity and inclusive society
Civil security for society
Digital, industry and space
Climate energy and mobility
Food, bio-economy, natural resources, agriculture and environment.

SME Programme

This competitive funding programme is designed to maximise benefits to SMEs and to support and encourage industrial investment into the aerospace sector and its supply chain through the funding of innovative and high-impact projects.

General Support Technology Programme (GSTP)

The UK Space Agency is looking to provide support to companies and academic institutions across the UK in developing innovative technologies to grow UK capability. They are keen to engage with start-ups and SMEs (from both within and outside the space sector), as well as established companies and organisations. Collaborative proposals are also welcomed.

ESA ITT
Deadline: Various
The latest list of open and intended ESA and non-ESA ITTs is now available and published on ESA STAR. This includes all contracts currently open for bids, as well as those in the intended phase prior to publication.
